Luke 'Blackbeard' Carver

Luke Carver, former Captain of the now-sunken Lydia's Pursuit. Descended from a long line of sailors and treasure hunters, Luke took naturally to piracy, and when had acquired his own ship, he took the nickname Blackbeard, after the famous Captain Blackbeard Teach, hoping to use the name to intimidate his victims.
Luke, unlike most of the characters in The Island of Time, was not plucked from his own time, but rather found the island while sailing on board the Atlantic Gemini, thinking the island held buried treasure.
